Here at Sailrite®, we have rivets for a variety of projects from installing snap studs with the SnapRite® Surface Mount Stud Die to installing a headboard on your sail. Traditional rivets are installed using a rivet tool, while tubular and semi-tubular rivets can be installed using a center punch and hammer.
We have a variety rivets for use with the SnapRite Surface Mount Stud Die in this selection. This is a die that attaches to your rivet tool that allows you to install snap studs to a surface using rivets instead of screws. In situations where you need waterproof protection, we recommend choosing the Leak-Resistant Sealing Blind, as this rivet creates a sealed rivet end and has a head that’s sealed with a plastic gasket. This type of rivet is a great choice for marine applications such as installing snaps in your hull to secure a boat cover. We also have blind rivets that work with aluminum or stainless steel in this selection, as well as a Sealing Blind Rivet that can be used with a rubber gasket to create a watertight seal.
We also have rivets made for connecting splines on bimini and dodger frames as well as rivets for installing headboards and leech line cleats on sails. Tubular rivets for sail applications are also available.
